In 2006 I put out my first album.  I was 18 years old, a senior in high school.  I conceived of the title one day on the bus, waiting for it to be filled and to take us all home.  I was listening to music, and it was raining outside, streaming down the windows.  Music was like an answer to a question I didn’t know how to ask.  Everything I saw was imbued with significance.  The whole thing was made in my bedroom in Pennsylvania.  The image here is the album cover, and the project went by the name of The Woods.
