Before there were Phurbas
$30.00 – $300.00
Drawing by Zack.
This doodle ended up reminding me of a phurba if it was drawn abstractly. A phurba (pronounced “PER-BUH”) is a ritual object in Buddhism. Very beautiful, they are like a cross between a dagger and an intricate decoration you might see in a temple or church. Although they are a dagger, they are never kept sharp and never are used to harm anything. They protect and promote integrity and peace. This drawing makes me imagine a primordial state of peace, perfect grace, an undivided state of Nature that existed before, or at the unknown beginnings of, time.
